We have grown from a single campus in Manila to a university system of eight constituent universities across the country, but we are still one university. No matter which campus or unit we belong to, we have one identity. We are UP.

NO CLASSES
(HOLY WEEK AND READING BREAK)

In observance of the Lenten Season, the University of the Philippines will implement a half-day work and class schedule on March 27, 2024 (Wednesday) as stated in Memorandum No. PAJ 24-08 released by President Angelo Jimenez last March 18, 2024.

"COS/JO personnel may shift to work from home with expected output for the day delivered" while "Unit heads in Constituent Universities (CUs) responsible for delivering essential services such as health services, security and police, communications (PABX), garbage collection, shall observe the regular whole day work schedule. University officials and staff in these units are urged to schedule their tasks with flexibility and understanding."

The University of the Philippines Baguio will observe its Reading Break from April 1 to April 6 in accordance with the approved Academic Calendar. However, offices in the University will resume operations on April 1, 2024 (Monday).

Please be guided accordingly.

29th SUMMER INSTITUTE IN THE NATURAL SCIENCES AND MATHEMATICS

The College of Science, University of the Philippines Baguio, and the SINSM committee are pleased to announce the 29th Summer Institute in the Natural Sciences and Mathematics which will be held in person for Biology, Mathematics and Computer Science, and Physical Sciences on April 4-6, 2024.

The theme for this year’s SINSM is ”Recalibrating Science and Mathematics Education Instruction through Modern and Flexible Teaching and Research Methods Part 2” which aims to reinforce approaches in pedagogies and research methods to sustain hybrid modes of learning.
