- 11 papers were presented by faculty from Social Science, Humanities and SPEAR division
- Some papers were also presented to international conferences such as IAHA and ICOPHIL

- Confirmed the interdisciplinarity and multi-disciplinarity of ethnicity studies
- Challenged the participating faculty to self-interrogate their theoretical frameworks and enhanced their “handle” on their respective researches.

- Provided a keener sense of where to locate different research interests on ethnicity studies in Northern Luzon

Co-convened the 3 rd National Conference on Philippine Studies held in Baguio City |
- 56 abstracts (with illustrations) of researches by UP Baguio Faculty were presented;

- Fostered awareness among Philippine scholars and the general public on the researches of UP Baguio Faculty on ethnicity studies
