The UP Baguio Mountaineers thanks you all for taking part in the 2nd Annual Run for Trails 2005 held last Sunday, April 24, 2005 at 8 a.m.

This 12 kilometer trail run starts at the green campus of UP Baguio and meanders through the lesser-known trails of Camp John Hay including the Ecotrail, Yellow Trail and Shalan ni Kabadjo. The event celebrates Earth Day on April 22 and advocates for the immediate need for more nature trails and green environments in the country, as well as lobby for the proper preservation and maintenance of existing trail and parks.

ELIGIBILITY

• Members of the Philippine Distance Running Team will not be allowed to compete in the race.
• Participants must be in sound physical condition. It is the participant's responsibility to inform the organizers of any illness/es s/he may have before the race begins.

RACE MECHANICS

• A race briefing will take place on the day of the race at 7 a.m. at the U.P. Baguio Oblation grounds.
• The race will start at exactly 8am. All runners will start from the U.P. Baguio grounds at the same time.
• The U.P. Baguio Mountaineers and Camp John Hay Development Corporation are not liable for any untoward accidents or injuries that may happen during the race.
• Participants should strictly follow the designated route; shortcuts are strictly prohibited and may lead to disqualification.
• In case of a tie, the winners shall split the prize money.
• This is a rain or shine race. However, in case of extremely bad weather, the organizers reserve the right to delay or cancel the activity.
• Field is limited to 100 runners on a first-come, first-served basis.
