The UP Baguio Institute of Management won 1st place at the recently concluded The 9th PPM Regional Business Case Competition (RBCC) held at Jakarta, Indonesia last November 14-15, 2018. This year’s theme is Mandiri Sahabatku: Towards the Inclusion of Indonesian Migrant Workers. The competition is sponsored by Bank Mandiri, one of Indonesia’s largest banks.

The RBCC is an annual event participated by master’s degree students from various universities throughout Asia Pacific countries. Participants are challenged by real company case and are assessed based on their analytical, thinking skills, creativity, and innovation.

The team, Luntian at Pula, is composed of Master of Management students, Blessing Kith Dominno-Macabio, Joanna Rachelle M. Matadling, and John Primor P. Uy, led by their coaches Prof. Dianne Acosta-Corpuz, CPA, MBA and Dr. Bienvenido Marzan.

A total of 58 teams participated and submitted their case analyses on Mandiri Sahabatku, Bank Mandiri’s company’s social responsibility focusing on giving entrepreneurship seminars and assistance for Indonesian Migrant Workers.
