BACHELOR'S DEGREE PROGRAMS
Undergraduate Applicants
Graduates of accredited high schools may be admitted as first year students on the basis of their UP College Admission Test (UPCAT).
UPCAT - U.P. System
As the premier State University, the University of the Philippines offers a wide range of degree programs. Some degree programs are offered in only one campus (e.g., BS Nursing, BA Filipino) while others are offered in two or more campuses (e.g., B Fine Arts, BS Statistics). Most of these require qualification through the UP College Admission Test (UPCAT).
International Students
International Students may be admitted as beginning first year students provided they meet the following requirements:
- Completion of a high school program in the country where they took their secondary education (including a one or two-year pre-university education in a country where such is a prerequisite for admission to a bachelor’s program.
- Qualification for admission by any national or international foreign-administered examinations (SAT, GCE, IB or other UP approved equivalent examinations).
- TOEFL in the case an applicant whose native language or whose medium of instruction in the secondary school is not English
