The University of the Philippines Baguio hosted the first-ever SEAMS Research School in Baguio City and the Northern Luzon region.

The Kasarian Gender Studies Program hosted a legal forum on VAWC on December 4, 2025, at the Teatro Amianan.

The Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities (ICSC), in collaboration with the UP Baguio Alumni Relations Office (ARO) and in partnership with Pi Sigma Fraternity Baguio.

The UP Baguio concluded a two-day benchmarking activity with the University of the Philippines Visayas held on December 1–2, 2025, at the Chancellor’s Boardroom.

The CSC, in partnership with the Local Regional Studies Network of UP CIDS, hosted a forum titled “Cultural and Heritage Policies in the Cordillera” on November 28 and 29, 2025, at the CSS-AVR.

Faculty and officials from the PSU-School of Advanced Studies visited UP Baguio to conduct a benchmarking activity with its graduate faculty on November 21, 2025.

The activity forms part of the activity UPB Art History: Behind the Canvas Lecture Series for the Ibagiw: Baguio Creative Festival 2025, which carries the theme “Traditions Rooted, Future Routed.”

The Department of Biology, in collaboration with the UP Office of International Linkages (UP OIL), inaugurated the World Expert Lecture Series (WELS) on November 13, 2025, at UP Baguio.

The UP Baguio University Student Council (UPB-USC) organized a storytelling activity at the UP Baguio Daycare Center on November 13, 2025.

The sociocultural student organization Paggawisan Tako Am-in (PAGTA) hosted the annual Ayuyang celebration on November 7, 2025, to culminate its observance of Indigenous Peoples month.

The activity entitled “Traditional Technologies for Survival: Indigenous Innovations for Food Preservation” was held on October 30, 2025, at the MK Grounds.

Students and faculty from the BUJMRIGD were in UP Baguio on October 24, 2025 for an academic visit that aims to strengthen academic collaboration and institutional partnership.

The Museo Kordilyera, in partnership with the NCCA and the Local Government Unit of Muntinlupa, held the final session of “Museums and Communities Conversations Series”.

The CSC conducted its research lecture series in celebration of Indigenous Peoples Month including the 28th commemoration of the IPRA on October 20 and 25 at the CSS-AVR.

The UP Baguio Library opened its 22nd Book Fair on October 20-21, 2025. It gathered 12 exhibitors showcasing a wide selection of academic and general interest books.

With the theme “Resilient Museums and Galleries: Educating for Preparedness and Recovery,” the event featured discussions led by faculty and staff.

The UP Baguio CCA hosted a forum titled “IP and AI Talks: AI’s Effects on Culture and the Arts” on October 13, 2025, at the Teatro Amianan in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Month.

The Museo Kordilyera conducted a training on Digital Sovereignty and Cultural Protective Initiative, as well as Disaster Preparedness for Cultural Heritage on October 13, 2025, at the MK Mini-Gallery.

The Human Resources Development Office (HRDO) successfully concluded its four-part seminar series with a session entitled: “The Courage to Be Kind (to myself).”

The Museo Kordilyera (MK), with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Local Government Unit of Muntinlupa, opened Museums and Galleries Month 2025 at the MK Courtyard on October 7, 2025.

A lecture-discussion on disinformation, political campaigns, and the 2025 Midterm Elections engaged more than 100 students and faculty members at Teatro Amianan on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

The Cordillera Studies Center (CSC) continued its research lecture series with a presentation by Asst. Prof. Leia Fidelis Gisela F. Castro-Margate and Jethro Bryan Andrada.

The Cordillera Studies Center hosted another round of the Saliksik Kordilyera Lecture Series with the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences Dr. Io M. Jularbal.

The Human Resources Development Office successfully concluded the third installment of the four-part seminar series “Well-being Sessions: Pathways to Ginhawa,” on September 8, 2025.

The UP Baguio, represented by Chancellor Joel M. Addawe and Prof. Juancho A. Collera of the Graduate Program Office signed a MOA with the CHED-CAR for the reopening of the SIKAP this academic year.
