The CSWeek 2024 started with a series of talks “The Rising Stars: Women in Science” yesterday, March 18, 2024, at the CS AVR, UP Baguio. This event was also held to celebrate National Women’s Month.
Dr. Ailyn F. Fadriquela, an alumna of the UP Baguio Biology Department, presented her Balik Scientist Program report entitled "My (Scientific) Way Back Home Setting a Niche of Biomedical Research in the North"
The talk featured novelist Joel Donato Ching Jacob and artist Christina "Tona" Lopez. Both guests discussed the impact of A.I. on the art of writing and visual arts respectively.
